From December 5 to 8, 2025, the 20th Guangzhou Design Week ran across the Poly World Trade Center Expo, Guangzhou International Sourcing Centre and Haizhu International Convention & Exhibition Center. Under the annual theme "Dear", more than 1,000 brands from 20+ countries exhibited and visitor numbers topped 460,000 in four days. MUDO Furniture exhibited its Song Aesthetics whole-case luxury system, presenting a contemporary sample of refined oriental living at the frontier of design.
Inside the exhibition area, a pair of Song-style armchairs with a side table sat by the window beneath a blue-green landscape scroll, while lake-blue upholstered armchairs echoed the console tables and tea tables nearby. Distilling the Song lifestyle of simplicity, elegance and calm into a contemporary design language, MUDO translated traditional woodworking skeleton and spirit with modern craftsmanship into an oriental space to walk through, behold, inhabit and wander.
As "the home of designers" — with designers making up over 60% of visitors — Guangzhou Design Week is a key stage for MUDO to connect with design talent nationwide. Across the four days, interior designers and soft-decor professionals gathered at the booth — with overseas buyers also calling in to explore cooperation — discussing how Song aesthetics applies to new-Chinese-style residences, tea spaces and cultural homes, and reaching multiple cooperation intentions on site.
Going forward, MUDO will keep deepening its two original style systems — Song Aesthetics and Natural Aesthetics — working with designer partners to bring contemporary expressions of oriental beauty into more high-end living projects.
